Heard this track on the DVD release of the teen thriller flick, Disturbia, which is not a bad film to pass a couple of hours with. Worth a look for Sarah Roemer in a pair of shorts anyway!

Minneapolis based This World Fair co-wrote and recorded Don't Make Me Wait for the film soundtrack and as I'm a big sucker for these melancholy indie-rock workouts, I thought I'd give it a plug.

The music video is by Disturbia's director, DJ Caruso and features as an extra on the DVD release.

The band has a major label album due out in 2008.

Download available via iTunes or your favourite P2P as part of the Disturbia soundtrack.

I sometimes think the best song lyrics are the ones you can't quite make out first time round, one's where there is a bit of doubt as to what is being said, often a phrase which catches the ear, but you can't quite put all the pieces together,

Thanks to the wonders of the net though, it's easy to remedy the situation.

This is Bullet by legendary punk band The Misfits

You can listen along here.

President's bullet-ridden body in the street
Ride, Johnny ride
Kennedy's shattered head hits concrete
Ride, Johnny ride

Johnny's wife is floundering
Johnny's wife is scared
Run, Jackie run

Texas is an outrage when your husband is dead
Texas is an outrage when they pick up his head
Texas is the reason that the president's dead
You gotta suck, suck, Jackie suck

President's bullet-ridden body in the street
Ride, Johnny ride
Kennedy's shattered head hits concrete
Ride, Johnny ride

Texas is an outrage when your husband is dead
Texas is an outrage when they pick up his head
Texas is the reason that the president's dead
You gotta suck, suck, Jackie suck

Arise Jackie O, Jonathon of Kennedy
Well, arise and be shot down
The dirt's gonna be your dessert
My cum be your life source
And the only way to get it
Is to suck or fuck
Or be poor and devoid
And masturbate me, masturbate me
Then slurp it from your palm
Like a dry desert soaking up rain
Soaking up sun
Like a dry desert soaking up rain
Soaking up sun
